What a post-election day in the USA. Lots to reflect upon, to consider, to value. Here is my suggestion! This poster uses the flag that hung in front of my home on 9.11.01-- over which I have added the words to "America the Beautiful," one of my favorite American hymns.
Tomorrow night, cold weather arrives. My honey- bees are quiet today. November is a tough month here in Southern New England. We feel the segue from summer to winter. Daylight savings, the end of it, is up next. Then, the final wood-stacking for winter begins. After yesterday's election, millions of us feel a sense of relief at a reprieve that seems to have arrived, however temporarily it may prove to be. This sentiment explains my choice of imagery, here, this week. In the tumult that is November, may you find in the cool air some seasonal Peace, some satisfaction in the realization that our Republic rattles along, still. Amen!
