November 3, Cold Air Finally to Arrive

After yesterday's elections, perhaps you consider...!

"America the Beautiful" reflects on the election of yesterday

Dear Friends Old and New,
What a post-election day in the USA. Lots to reflect upon, to consider, to value. Here is my suggestion! This poster uses the flag that hung in front of my home on 9.11.01-- over which I have added the words to "America the Beautiful," one of my favorite American hymns.
Tomorrow night, cold weather arrives.  My honey- bees are quiet today. They are inside their hives, as though they understand exactly where we are in the cycle of the seasons-- which I believe they do!
In advance of the holiday season, have you begun your shopping yet? If so, you may wish to examine my Beach Poster GalleryNew JerseyLong IslandFloridaChesapeake Bay, and California. These screen-printed images make great gifts. Each poster includes actual sand gathered by yours truly from the beaches of that particular locality then adhered to the poster, itself; a very unusual poster and excellent gift idea at any time of year. I will sign your print before shipping. Note, the Rhode Island Beach Poster sold thru two printings and is regrettably, no longer available.
If, when purchasing a print, custom-ordering your matte and frame is important to you, selections from any of my galleries will encourage you to experiment with various styles so you are very happy when the work arrives at your door. Check out selections from my Photo Gallery, or perhaps Painting Gallery. As you will see--when customizing, pick a gloss paper or matte, perhaps a metal (Aluminum) or acrylic-- even a canvas wrap. Then choose a preferred size. Sizes vary with the selection and depend on the quality of digital image resolution. Add a matte and frame of your liking; many to choose from. Include a framing device so that your work will arrive snappy and buttoned-up, ready to hang. Take advantage of the special framing features on this website! These features add excitement to the print-buying experience.
Art prints arrive excellently packaged, in buttoned-up condition, ready to hang. Money back guarantee...if not completely satisfied. Stick with it. Experiment...see what is possible. Your time will be worth it. If you are lucky, you will receive your print in week or ten days-- notwithstanding (still present) Covid-related production and shipping bottlenecks. By the way...have you ever purchased an art print? As the month of November begins to call attention to the holiday (HolyDay) season, give it a try.
Brand your Americana posters: If, in the spirit of the times, you like the idea of a patriotic poster, one that attempts to capture something critical about the essence of our Republic--and if you own a small business, large business, or captain a non-profit organization-- and would like to make branded posters available to your staff, employees and customers, I would be pleased to add your organization's logo discretely in the lower right hand corner...when you place your order. Contact me to discuss. We can plan to do this by the time the holiday period arrives.
Here are other categories, themes, mediums...prints of which you may find helpful, especially as the season of gift-giving approaches:

November is a tough month here in Southern New England. We feel the segue from summer to winter. Daylight savings, the end of it, is up next. Then, the final wood-stacking for winter begins. We check off our winter chores, as days roll buy. The wood-stove is up and running for the season. I still rake each day. We prepare.

After yesterday's election, millions of us feel a sense of relief at a reprieve that seems to have arrived, however temporarily it may prove to be. This sentiment explains my choice of imagery, here, this week. In the tumult that is November, may you find in the cool air some seasonal Peace, some satisfaction in the realization that our Republic rattles along, still. Amen!
