It is a lyrical, whimsical work, among my earliest experimentations in trying to capture the ineluctable beauty of lighthouses along the New England shore . This little image is made from a small painting, acrylic on white cotton board, at a scale of about 7" x 5." The wonders of digital tech allow it to be scanned and reproduced with pretty wonderful resolution and color fidelity. The scene itself is an ethereal one.
