Perhaps not as far as corn, tomatoes and potatoes are concerned-- but certainly true about Strawberries, Honeysuckle and early season Wildflowers! As one who has spent hours in the yard, in the compost heap and in the garden, I can attest, the season has come alive in recent weeks. My wildflower garden, planted last season, last year, has wintered over and is alive with new bulbs and blossoms in this new summer growing cycle. Just a beautiful thing to behold. Here is to adequate summer rain, lush growth and a bountiful late-summer, early fall .
