Ever Bought an Art Print? Now...the Time?

Day Lily ... Lush " One Lone Lily "...as June rolls on Dear Friends Old and New, After a day of deluge, half a wheel barrow of rainwater, the grounds are green and lush and Day Lilies continue to come into their annual peak season. Above, see all the buds in green coming right along, while only one among them is ready and has burst open to welcome summer. This is among my favorite summertime Lily photos. I admit, I have never produced a large print of this image, I mean, perhaps 10 or 12 feet across and 8 feet high, but the image at large scale is, nonetheless, large in my mind's eye.  Sun, Weed , Cut, Mulch...  Grow !   "Second Year Wildflower Garden"...and it's wild!   Dear Friends Old and New, The image above is not available as a print...but I ought to make it so!    I let my garden of last summer winter over, and voila! Here, early in the growing season 2022, this is what is unfolding, a wild scene, a chrome-yellow display of hundreds, thousands of buds and blossoms, delirious! Very hard to believe, have never seen anything like this. At one pm the other day, there were too many bees, butterflies and assorted other flying creatures to recognize and count! Thanks to Johnnny's Seeds for the packages received in the Spring of '01 that made this possible. One customized package was for honey-bees, the other for butterflies and birds. Perhaps not as far as corn, tomatoes and potatoes are concerned-- but certainly true about Strawberries, Honeysuckle and early season Wildflowers! As one who has spent hours in the yard, in the compost heap and in the garden, I can attest, the season has come alive in recent weeks. My wildflower garden, planted last season, last year, has wintered over and is alive with new bulbs and blossoms in this new summer growing cycle. Just a beautiful thing to behold. And a Glorious Day , It Is!   " Point Judith Light "...June Art Print  Dear Friends Old and New, Here is an underplayed art print  idea for early June, 2022. Point Judith Light .  It is a lyrical, whimsical work, among my earliest experimentations in trying to capture the ineluctable beauty of lighthouses along the New England shore . This little image is made from a small painting, acrylic on white cotton board, at a scale of about 7" x 5." The wonders of digital tech allow it to be scanned and reproduced with pretty wonderful resolution and color fidelity. The scene itself is an ethereal one. Cool blues of the sea and clouds against a warm green and orange sky. I am pleased to remind this audience of this image .
