Winding down , or winding up ?  " Psalms 118:24 " from my Faith Prints  gallery Dear Friends Old and New, Tomorrow, the President of Ukraine addresses the United States Congress.    Frankly, I think I could write his speech . He has become, overnight, a global hero,  a symbol of courage in the face of tyranny. We all support him, do we not? And yet, will we 'close the skies?' Will we 'send jets?' When the vastly larger, heavily armed Russian army descends on Ukraine, are we to sit around in front of our TVs cowering to the threats of a bully, zealot, madman, or some combination of all three, while the country and its history, its people get ground into dust? Is this what we're expected to do? Who is to know. I for one, don't think this circumstance will go down like this. We live in 'interesting times,' as our buddies, the Chinese have long pointed out.
