Prints for January-- Big Storm on Way

Nice time to consider...an original lighthouse print

Dear Friends Old and New,
A storm is making its way up the east coast of the United States. More than two feet of snow is predicted to fall, this weekend. Winter settling in, now. Woodstove and furnace work full-time, most days. Today is cold and clear. Perhaps all this creates a good time to order a new print before the storm hits. How about a print from a series of lighthouses I completed some years ago? Here is an example, "Portland Head Light." What is unusual about this image and series is that each painting is completed in acrylic paint at a small scale, 7" x 5" on a wooden shingle. A very nice visual effect, if I don't say so myself. This series is 'undiscovered,' meaning, I have never really promoted it or called any attention to it. But that is changing, now. The series is charming. You can see my new NFTs incorporating this imagery on Rarible, a great new experiment that I've undertaken here in the new year.

Here's an idea: The 'Good Almost Anytime' print--screenprints as gifts: Consider very unusual poster prints...Beach Posters, I call them. See them in my Beach Poster GalleryNew JerseyLong IslandFloridaChesapeake Bay, and California. Each poster includes actual sand gathered by yours truly from the beaches of that particular locality, then adhered to the poster, itself; a distinctive poster and excellent gift idea at any time of year. I will sign your print before shipping. Note, the Rhode Island Beach Poster early on sold thru two printings and is regrettably, no longer available. I can assure you, your chosen recipient will like a very unusual Beach Poster Print

If, when purchasing a print, custom-ordering your matte and frame is important to you, selections from any of my galleries will encourage you to experiment with various styles so you are very happy when the work arrives at your door. Check out selections from my Photo Gallery, or perhaps Painting Gallery. As you will see--when customizing, pick a gloss paper or matte, perhaps a metal (Aluminum) or acrylic-- even a canvas wrap. Then choose a preferred size. Sizes vary with the selection and depend on the quality of digital image resolution. Add a matte and frame of your liking; many to choose from. Include a means of framing and hanging so your work will arrive snappy and buttoned-up, ready to hang. Take advantage of the special framing features on this website. These features add excitement and joy to the print-buying experience.

Art prints arrive excellently packaged, in buttoned-up condition, ready to hang. Money back guarantee...if not completely satisfied. Stick with it. Experiment...see what is possible. Your time will be worth it. If you are lucky, you will receive your print in week or ten days-- notwithstanding (still present) Covid-related production and shipping bottlenecks. Why not augur in 2022 with a new art print?
By the way...have you ever purchased an art print? As the month of November races by, cold and damp weather arrive, time now to give it a try?

Americana postershow to brand: If, in the spirit of the times, you like the idea of a patriotic poster, one that attempts to capture something critical about the essence of our Democratic Republic--and if you own a small business, large business, or captain a non-profit organization-- and would like to make branded posters available to your staff, employees and customers, I would be pleased to add your organization's logo discretely in the lower right hand corner...when you place your order. Contact me to discuss. An excellent way to 'get the word out.' My own view is this-- since our founding precepts, Fathers, documents and distinguishing national myths are under attack in many sectors, I will be promoting these images in the weeks ahead. Consider purchasing yours, now.

Here are other categories, themes, mediums...prints of which you may find helpful, especially as the season of gift-giving approaches: Painting printsfaithcity skylinesbeach

With the launch of my new Rarible site, the creation of many new oil-crayon sketches and the rediscovery of my LightHouse Series paintings on wooden shingles, I have to say the New Year is off to a hopeful start. Thanks for your notes, comments, curiosity, interest and patronage. I love it all.
