Ok, 2023 To See New Additions...
Time to add some new images? Here's an example:
Dear Friends Old and New,
I confess, this image is not part of my Paint Prints Gallery...so far. But it should be. I will add this image along with several companion images, in the weeks just ahead. The image is another in my effort to offer an homage to the power of the pixel, something I've been documenting since the 1980s, candidly. Once on the cover of two educational text books, "Changing Organizations," and "Society: Changing Times," the image remains a favorite of mine. Completed on canvas using acrylic paints, the painting occupied most of an afternoon to resolve. Let's see what the next several weeks hold.
Biblical Prints: John 13:34: "Religion," as we all witness, is often trashed by the predictably data-driven, often self-righteous, secular Left, possessed by the desire to make itself the center of power, law and authority up and down this society, working overtime to obliterate any idea or set of ideas that competes with its manufactured, ephemeral, chaotic all-too-narrow, worldly orthodoxies, demanding conformity, everywhere...what a tedious bore. Then, there is the question of one's personal faith, one's faith tradition. And there is the question for non-believers-- "I don't believe it." And the question for agnostics, those who could believe-- if only someone could 'prove it to me.' And the question for data-gatherers, science people, people of logic and rationality who want to participate in an extra-earthly experience that 'makes sense.' What a world we live in! Consequently, I find my faith prints timely and inspiring--and am happy to make them available to you or your organization on an "anytime" basis. Honestly, to see these images hanging in offices and rooms of friends is always a special treat that warms my heart. Last year, a friend gave his brother an art print gift, seen here, an unusual interpretation of John 3:16. These typographic prints do make excellent gifts at any time of year.

Here in February of this new year, 2023, why not plan on building your portfolio of original prints and art? As seen at the top of this post, I will be including several paintings that have thus far never seen the light of day--first time promotion. Keep an eye out. Meantime, while March is still a few weeks away, keep your pipes from freezing, heat on, your bird feeders full, your oil tank healthy and your kitchen overflowing with fruit and vegetables. May the storm season continue to treat us well, this winter. We've lucked-out, so far.
