Dear Friends Old and New,
The Christmas (or Holiday) season is upon us. No, it is not too late to order that special art print for a friend or family member. Biblical Prints: John 13:34: "Religion" continues to be trashed by the predictably data-driven, secular Left, possessed by the desire to make itself the center of power, law and authority up and down this society, working overtime to obliterate any idea or set of ideas that competes with its manufactured, ephemeral, chaotic orthodoxies, demanding conformity, everywhere. Then, there is the question of one's faith, and faith tradition. And the question for non-believers, "I don't believe it." And the question for agnostics, those who could believe, if only someone could 'prove it to me.' And the question for data-gatherers, science people, people of logic and rationality who want to participate in an extra-earthly experience that 'makes sense.' What a world we live in! Consequently, I find my faith prints more timely and inspiring--and am happy to make them available. Honestly, to see these images hanging in offices and rooms of friends is always a special treat that warms my heart. December is here, now. No snow, yet! But here in southern New England, we enter the long, cold, dark period of the year. Some think of this as the 'Season of Death,' followed by the warmth that comes with the Season of New Life-- Spring. Mother Earth has prepared for this coming season over the past month or two. Our bird feeders are hanging in the back yard near the kitchen window, now. Bins of kindling are stored in the barn, necessary to help light the hard-wood fires in the wood stove, nightly. Snow shovels are in place at the front and back doors. In the Advent Season, we hope, we wait, while wishing you and yours a happy season of anticipation.
