Dear Friends Old and New,
October recedes, what a beautiful month it was around here. November arrives as though it is still September, temperatures in seventies in Southern New England...pretty much all week long, though a new front is to blow in tonight, minus twenty degrees they tell us. Leaves have fallen now, in large measure. Once green lots of grass are brown. Daylight savings comes to an end, always a challenging time of year in my life-- I like light. The prospect of Thanksgiving is on the horizon. One study tells us a turkey will cost three times this year what it cost last. Then, Veteran's Day is coming up in a week or so. My posts this week have to do with this subject, in the main. This print, be reminded, is one of seven in my original series of "Who We Are," images designed and produced in the aftermath of 9.11.01. Here we are in 2022 and they are perhaps more powerful now than then. I hope you will find on the inspirational side.
Biblical Prints: John 13:34: With mid-term elections in two tumulutous days we engage in the most important exercise at the root of our Democratic Republic, of our still testy experiment. This comes at a time when "Religion" continues to be trashed by the predictably data-driven, secular Left. Consequently, I find these prints even more inspiring and am happy to make them available. I can tell you, to see these images hanging in offices and rooms of friends is a special treat. A friend gives his brother an art print gift, seen here, an unusual interpretation of John 3:16.
