Dear Friends Old and New,
In light of recent tragedies, our Country doesn't feel too beautiful, these days, does it. And yet, the ideals defined by our forefathers call us to recommit to the building of 'a more perfect union' so that all may prosper. So I will offer America the Beautiful as a print to consider on the occasion of Memorial Day, 2022, itself a remembrance of all those who have given the last full measure of devotion in the defense of this Country. Posters from this gallery have been popular since the early days of their creation just after the horrors of 9.11.01 when I designed the series as a means of galvanizing our National Spirit in the direction of a recovery from the tragedy. Gardens are slowly coming along, this Spring. I am harrowing, raking, clipping, and composting, turning over soil and cultivating new plants for the season just ahead. Good progress!
