January Perplexities & Antidotes?

What a curious time this is...isn't it?

Dear Friends Old and New,
Here in 2022, the vibe, at least in this man's opinion, is decidedly odd. Maybe the earth is at a tipping point. Maybe it's global warming, climate change. Maybe our underlying values need to be re-examined...and fortified. Maybe our country has to be tuned-up for this still-new century. Maybe the accumulation of feckless behaviors and mis-guided decisions are taking their toll. Maybe the Pandemic has just screwed up the social order of most folks. Perhaps the thought of $30T+ of national debt is enough to turn our idealism into a mud pile. Maybe listening to our President try to explain anything is just too taxing (no pun, intended), bewildering, even infuriating. Maybe our political class has over decades worn us out. Maybe just the notion of "progress" requires a deep breath such as this, once in awhile to find any new energy. I have no idea, but the vibe is odd.

Here's an idea: The 'Good Almost Anytime' print--screenprints as gifts: Consider very unusual poster prints...Beach Posters, I call them. See them in my Beach Poster GalleryNew JerseyLong IslandFloridaChesapeake Bay, and California. Each poster includes actual sand gathered by yours truly from the beaches of that particular locality, then adhered to the poster, itself; a distinctive poster and excellent gift idea at any time of year. I will sign your print before shipping. Note, the Rhode Island Beach Poster early on sold thru two printings and is regrettably, no longer available. I can assure you, your chosen recipient will like a very unusual Beach Poster Print

If, when purchasing a print, custom-ordering your matte and frame is important to you, selections from any of my galleries will encourage you to experiment with various styles so you are very happy when the work arrives at your door. Check out selections from my Photo Gallery, or perhaps Painting Gallery. As you will see--when customizing, pick a gloss paper or matte, perhaps a metal (Aluminum) or acrylic-- even a canvas wrap. Then choose a preferred size. Sizes vary with the selection and depend on the quality of digital image resolution. Add a matte and frame of your liking; many to choose from. Include a means of framing and hanging so your work will arrive snappy and buttoned-up, ready to hang. Take advantage of the special framing features on this website. These features add excitement and joy to the print-buying experience.

Art prints arrive excellently packaged, in buttoned-up condition, ready to hang. Money back guarantee...if not completely satisfied. Stick with it. Experiment...see what is possible. Your time will be worth it. If you are lucky, you will receive your print in week or ten days-- notwithstanding (still present) Covid-related production and shipping bottlenecks. Why not augur in 2022 with a new art print?
By the way...have you ever purchased an art print? As the month of November races by, cold and damp weather arrive, time now to give it a try?

Americana posters, how to brand: If, in the spirit of the times, you like the idea of a patriotic poster, one that attempts to capture something critical about the essence of our Democratic Republic--and if you own a small business, large business, or captain a non-profit organization-- and would like to make branded posters available to your staff, employees and customers, I would be pleased to add your organization's logo discretely in the lower right hand corner...when you place your order. Contact me to discuss. An excellent way to 'get the word out.'

Here are other categories, themes, mediums...prints of which you may find helpful, especially as the season of gift-giving approaches: Painting printsfaithcity skylinesbeach

Here in the very beginning of this New Year, I intend to produce a lot of new art--mostly in the form of sketches done in oil-crayons, a gratifying and satisfying medium, I've discovered. What form this exercise will take of course...remains to be seen, I'll take the risk! Thank you for all your support of my art.
