Artist with Free Fall Give Away Print…”God Bless America,” from the “Who We Are Collection.” 


Artist George Delany admits to working in a variety of media. Graphic Design, drawing, painting, photography, including Instagram Photos, limited editions and original art.  He invites you to visit his new art site, and to enter his first-ever, “Tough Times Free Fall Art Print Giveaway.” On October 1, the artist will randomly draw a name from among those who entered, and that person will receive the free print. And, as an OPTION, the winner can request this same image on METAL, if s/he prefers. The choice is up to the winner. Mr. Delany will sign the winning print. That’s it. Check it out, today. Educated at the Rhode Island School of Design, Mr. Delany graduated from the Graphic Design Department with additional study in photography. He has participated in the visual arts all his life. Now, his website, George Delany Art offers a variety of work created over recent years. A New Englander all his adult life, he owned and operated two award-winning design communications companies and served as Art Director, then Creative Director at several companies, en route. 


Here amidst the Pandemic, Mr. Delany celebrates the opening of his new art site by offering a free-print-- something he calls the “Tough Times Free Fall Art Print Giveaway.” When you visit his site and sign up for the giveaway your name is entered into the pool of possible winners. There will be only one winner. The artist will randomly select a winner and sign the graphic print upon awarding it to the individual. In this case, the free giveaway print is from his own Americana Poster Collection. It is produced using quality fine paper, inks and pigments. As an OPTION, the winner can choose this same image on METAL. The choice is up to the winner. The deadline to enter is the last day of September, Wednesday, September 30, 2020. The drawing will occur the next day, on October 1. 


Mr. Delany works with clients and fans to develop original images for particular purposes-- a poster, a work of graphic design, or fine art. Creative collaboration has been an exciting aspect of his professional life.


Two unusual features of his art site are these: a) You can do a “Wall Peview” in which the image you have selected can be “visualized” on particular walls at various sizes and in various frames, such as living room, bedroom, home business, sitting area, and restaurant b) Live Preview AR, meaning, via Augmented Reality. Using your phone, place your selected image right on your own wall, imagine how it will look in your dwelling. 

 

As Fall arrives and makes its presence felt, Mr. Delany is pleased to make his on-line art store available to those who may find it of value. Any art selection you may order comes in a variety of sizes and materials and can be produced by selecting from among several; paper, acrylic, aluminum, and canvas. Christmas Season...Prints in Trying Times

Frantic and Reflective ...at same time?       "Ecclesiastes 3 " perfect engraved art for Holydays Dear Friends Old and New, This is an odd post. The image above and the image below are not on my website. What you see is are prints from a series of "faith prints" I designed and engraved, some years ago. Prints for January-- Big Storm on Way

  Nice time to consider...an original lighthouse print ?  " Portland Head Light " from my  Paint Prints Gallery Dear Friends Old and New, A storm is making its way up the east coast of the United States. More than two feet of snow is predicted to fall, this weekend. Winter settling in, now. Woodstove and furnace work full-time, most days. Today is cold and clear. Perhaps all this creates a good time to order a new print before the storm hits. How about a print from a series of lighthouses I completed some years ago? Here is an example, " Portland Head Light ." What is unusual about this image and series is that each painting is completed in acrylic paint at a small scale, 7" x 5" on a wooden shingle. A very nice visual effect, if I don't say so myself. This series is 'undiscovered,' meaning, I have never really promoted it or called any attention to it. But that is changing, now.
