We'll go with the Life Force  in Honey-Bees     " Honey-Bees 3 " from my Photo Prints  gallery Dear Friends Old and New,  Look! "See it!," as my instructor once said. Brand new! Prints available from photos of my honey-bees, last summer, am pleased to announce.   These miraculous creatures have occupied my imagination over three summers, now. They are astonishing animals, but I won't go into it, here. We have had the supreme luxury of harvesting copious amounts of delicious, raw honey, each summer, courtesy of 'the girls.' Bear in mind, in the life of a honey-bee, perhaps 6-7 weeks, in summer, her legacy if she survives, will be to leave for the hive less than one-third of a teaspoon of honey. Truly! So when you look at that one-pound jar of honey, think about the life, the love, the mission, the passion that it holds. I can't get over it, honestly. In any event, you are invited to take a look at these prints . Perhaps there is a place on your w...

Art Prints in Perilous Times

Winding down , or winding up ?  " Psalms 118:24 " from my Faith Prints  gallery Dear Friends Old and New, Tomorrow, the President of Ukraine addresses the United States Congress.    Frankly, I think I could write his speech . Is this what we're expected to do? Who is to know. I for one, don't think this circumstance will go down like this. We live in 'interesting times,' as our buddies, the Chinese have long pointed out. I would call these straight-up, perilous times. Who knows what the next 24 hours or two wee...

A time of war ?  " America, " from My  Americana Posters  Gallery Dear Friends Old and New, Here we are in a time of international tragedy, amidst so many daily prognostications that "things are going to get a lot worse." There is an urgency and an ominousness in the air. We do little things each day in the spirit of doing what must be done, what we can do in the face of it all. I find I can look at these posters in my Americana Posters gallery and, honestly, the miracle of our founding and 200+ years of often passionate attempts by our citizens to 'build a more perfect union,' seems more and more one of unfathomable proportions, thanks be to the Almighty. In this poster, you see two verses, one in blue and one in white. The verse expressed in white ("Father of every grace...") was written by my grandfather on the occasion of the end of WW2. I am gratified to have included the 'updated' version here in this patriotic poster image.  Here...
